A Taridra (Dance-Drama) Presented By Fuchun Community Club Malay Activity Executive Committee at The Official Opening of Malay Heritage Centre on 4 & 5 June 2005

 

The headman of the farming village, Desa Sinar Suria, reciting poetry & prayer The Harvest Dance A gathering of two villages

A fight between two children leads to the

involvement of their parents and then the headmen

A section of the Audience
Disaster strikes the two villages. Hurricane that strikes the two villages is symbolised by the waving blue flags.

As they get up from the disaster and pick up the pieces, they help each other irregardless of which village they come from. In the face of severe calamity that comes upon the two villages, the people become friends again as symbolised by warm hugs between the headmen.

A marriage that unifies the two villages again
