The Fuchun Community Club Malay Activity Executive Committee wish to express its sincere appreciation and gratitude for the invaluable efforts, time, and support of the following persons / organisations in contributing towards the first Malay Traditional Dance Workshop – Bengkel Tari Melayu held at Fuchun Community Club on 25 February 2006:

 

 

  • People Association’s Malay Activity Coordinating Council (MESRA) for providing the cultural grant in support of the dance workshop

 

  • Fuchun Community Club Management Committee for the invaluable support for the dance workshop and all events and activities organised by Fuchun CC MAEC

 

  • Dance Workshop Presenters & Instructors: Mr Khalid Mohamad Nor of Istana Budaya (Palace of Culture) Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, & Mr Rizman Kassim & his dance artistes of Artist Seni Budaya Tepak Sireh, Singapore, for sharing with us their invaluable expertise and experience with so much enthusiasm and professionalism

 

  • Participants from Community Clubs and their Malay Activity Executive Committees (MAECs), Secondary Schools, Junior Colleges and individuals who participated in the dance workshop with such energy and enthusiasm that would have made anyone witnessing it feel proud that Malay Traditional Dance is very much alive and very well in this day and age. A BIG THANK YOU!! to all Participants

 

  • MAEC members, youths, volunteers and grassroots organisations activists for the time and efforts in support of the workshop

 

  • Mass media, in particular Radio Warna 94.2, for helping to promote & publicize the workshop

 

  • People’s Association staff of PA's MESRA, Fuchun CC and other CCs, officials of MAECs; principals, teachers, other officials of participating secondary schools and junior colleges as well as parents for their support and/or participation, and everyone else who has in one way or other contributed towards the success of the workshop
